Rules For Writing
0. To be a writer, one must write.
1. No character can exist in a vacuum.
2. At some point, something must happen.
3. Conflict is more important than consistency.
4. Consistency is more important than novelty.
5. Keep a character in the center of gravity.
6. Don’t tell the reader how to feel.
7. Tropes are tools.
8. Follow the rules, especially if you don't know why.
9. Be predictable.
10. Coincidences are only allowed at the start.
