Solarpunk

This is still in the idea phase. I intermittently see a sort of weird cyberpunk utopia centered around solar energy, and keep thinking it could make a great dystopian story.

A Dyson sphere that privatizes sunlight and daytime, itself. An energy starved world where oil is available, but engines are outlawed for anyone except the elite. I have a bunch of ideas for stories, but I need to settle on only one, at least to start.
